Bald ist es soweit.
Nach einem Jahr intensiver Arbeit an meinem Buch “Edle Schmuck-Unikate & Accessoires aus Polymer-Clay” ist ein Ende in Sicht. Aller Vorraussicht nach wird das Buch Ende September/Anfang Oktober – vorerst im Eigenvertrieb – erscheinen.
Das Buch ist in deutscher Sprache verfasst und enthält
• 14 detailliert bebilderte Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen,
• ein ausführliches Grundlagenkapitel, das auch Polymer-Clay-Neulinge nicht im Stich lässt
• und eine inspirierende Galerie mit Schmuckstücken und Accessoires nationaler und internationaler Polymer-Clay-Künstler.

Für die ganz Eiligen werde ich in den nächsten Tagen ein Vorbestellungs-Formular online stellen.

It’s nearly done.
After one year of intensive work I’m proud to announce that my book “Edle Schmuck-Unikate & Accessoires aus Polymer-Clay” finally will be out by the end of September/beginning of October.
The book will be published (and sold) by myself. It’s all in german language and will feature
• 14 step-by-step projects with detailed photography and instruction
• an elaborate basics section for everyone who is new to polymer clay
• and an inspiring gallery featuring the work polymer clay artists from all over the world

For those who can’t wait I will set up a pre-order form shortly.

Jetzt, da der Sommer schon fast wieder vorbei ist, habe ich endlich einmal die Zeit gefunden, die aktuelle Armbandkollektion in den Shop zu bringen. Die farbenfrohen Sommer-Armbänder zeigen meine “Aged Beads”, Perlen in einem antikisierten Look. Aged Beads ist auch der Name eines Workshops, den ich im nächsten Jahr bei Clay Corbières Créatives I in Südfrankreich unterrichten werde und dem auch ein Kapitel in meinem Buch (das hoffentlich noch in diesem Jahr herauskommen wird) gewidmet sein wird.

Now that summer is nearly over I finally found the time to add my new bracelet collection to my shop. These colorful bracelets feature my “aged beads”. Aged Beads is also the name of the class that I will teach in March 2010 at Clay Corbières Créatives I in South France and of a tutorial that will be in my book (that will hopefully be published by the end of the year).
