Einige von euch wissen vielleicht schon, dass ich im November eine der Lehrerinnen bei Donna Kato’s Clay Carnival in Las Vegassein werde. Für mich ist es das erste mal, dass ich bei diesem Event dabei sein darf und es ist zudem auch noch meine erste Reise ins glitzernde Las Vegas.
Nach einigem hin- und herüberlegen, welchen Kurs ich in dieser schillernden Stadt wohl anbieten könnte, habe ich endlich das perfekte Projekt für den Anlass gefunden. Meine Sorbet Pendants. Bei diesen Anhängern kommt die Ghost-Image-Technik in changierenden, frische Mica-Farben zum Einsatz. Der Blickfang dieser Ketten: Der Knebel-Verschluß, der die Kette auf der Vorderseite schließt ist gleichzeitig der Sorbet-Anhänger selbst. Dieser Kurs macht viel Spaß und ich hoffe, die, die beim Carnival dabei sind, werden genauso viel Spaß damit haben. Vielleicht treffen wir uns dort? I’m really thrilled to be part of this year’s Clay Carnival adventure. It will not only be my first time teaching at this event – I also have never been to the bright and glamorous city of Las Vegas.
Well, I was thinking about which class to bring with me to this place of exuberance in light and color and I decided that my “Sorbet Pendant Class” would be a perfect match.These pendant necklaces feature a lustrous ghost image design in bright and juicy eye-catching colors. The real fun fact about this project however is: The toggle clasp that closes the necklace at the front actually is formed by the Sorbet Pendant itself.
